“Fortune Teller” This is a portrait of a 4-eyed, gilled, sea fortune teller that wears a green snake with legs that has horns. He has a ghost on top of his head with a body that looks a little like a party hat. The ghost tells the fortune teller what to do, and it whispers to him the fortunes of those that ask. He tells them that they may be eaten by sea monsters, but they never believe him. When sailors and tourists DO get eaten by sea monsters and die, the fortune teller takes their wallets when they float to the surface of the ocean. He wears stitched up gloves so he can pick up the dirty money, but he tells people they’re just to protect his ‘hands of fate.’ There is a rumor that the fortune teller is a sea monster himself but no one knows.

Blue background, dark blue robe with yellow trim, various shades of green, with a bit of lavender, pink and magenta.
